Exploring Careers in Art
Explore many different career possibilities in the visual arts. Members are encouraged to express their interests and try many different artistic avenues from comics to fashion design, to illustration, to working with wood, metal, ceramic, glass, and more.

Show
Display your work at various art shows throughout the year. Members have participated in sponsored events by the Columbus College of Art and Design, community shows, and special conference events that feature particular kinds of art, such as the alternative comic show, "SPACE."
Draw
Members draw still life, live models, landscapes, portraits, comics, product designs (and anything else they can) in various media (pastels, charcoal, pen and ink) using many different techniques.
Create Portfolios
We help students prepare for college admission and scholarship opportunities. Members are assisted with creating pieces and developing their portfolio presentation.

We educate our members in the many professional careers in the visual arts and to help them create a portfolio for college admission and scholarship purposes.
Sell
Prints and original works at two CCAD student art sales per year with profits going to the artist. Other items to raise funds for the Post such as the annual Boy Scout popcorn sale.
